Job Description

Our office is looking for a very experienced, tech-savvy Mailchimp Newsletter Editor with at least two years experience in writing original online content and managing electronic newsletters and email marketing campaigns The successful candidate should be able to create and manage content, distribute newsletter to target audience, ensure audience acquisition, conversion and retention, and keep track of metrics and KPIs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages all our electronic newsletters and email marketing campaigns on the MailChimp platform.
  • Produces monthly e-newsletters with content provided by key team members, management, and writing staff, plus other contributors who provide content.
  • Liaises with the content providers (i.e. content writer, graphic artist, management, etc.) to obtain further information, clarification, links or logos to be included with relevant articles or items.
  • Organization of the news in a relevant and appropriate way.
  • Provision of the draft newsletter for proofreading and amend as appropriate.
  • Creates and manages content while also distributing newsletters to the intended target audience.
  • Maintains consistent website traffic by ensuring audience acquisition, conversion and retention.
  • Keeps track of important metrics and key performance indicators.
  • The successful candidate would be required to work in our Makati office for the first month and would have the option to work remotely on the second month onwards.
  • Must be ready and flexible to provide support on ad-hoc activities when required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Mass Communication, English, Journalism, Technical Writing or any related field.
  • At least two years experience in copywriting, content writing, content management, online marketing, and social media management.
  • Experience working on Mac OS or Windows 10.
  • Tech savvy and can easily adapt to various productivity platforms and content management systems such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, G Suite, Asana, Squarespace, WiX, Wordpress, and various social media platforms.
  • Proficient in content management systems for websites, including basic HTML, CSS, Java and SEO experience.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with capability adjusting to different styles and tones.
  • Must possess a strong creative skill set including attention to detail, ability to produce accurate work when under pressure.
  • Ability to work within tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Stays on top of social media and online content trends, new technologies, emerging platforms, and best practices.
  • Applicants must submit a writing sample/portfolio to be shortlisted for the role.
