Job Description

The Reporting Associate will:

  • Provide general reporting support to the HR and Business community through the preparation and delivery of systematic generated data.
  • Develops and implements new innovative ways to more effectively perform prescriptive or performance reporting related duties such that will improve business results and efficiencies (process and workflow efficiencies).
  • Improve data collection, distribution and visualization processes in order to improve the quality of reporting capabilities and enhance the user experience
  • Anticipates potential data needs and provides value added solutions to the customer in a more timely and efficient manner
  • Utilizes internal and external data sources and through integration, novel data mining exploration, and troubleshooting of data anomalies provides consistent value-added metrics to help drive strategic insights
  • Exploration that brings in and implements cutting-edge Analytical/Visualization techniques including processes, procedures and workflows. Explores, pilots, validates and deploys these techniques and services globally.
  • Contributes to the gathering of analytical efficiencies on a global, regional, local and functional level.
  • Develops a process to translate selected reporting projects and efficiencies worth scaling to serve the broader Global HR and Business communities
  • Deliver key insights to stakeholders through the delivery of metrics that provide specific actionable recommendations (prescriptive) to drive enterprise initiatives
  • Understand business needs via Voice of Customer Analyses with Senior Leadership that translates information to viable reporting projects that should be scaled and deployed worldwide
  • Actively works with the stakeholder in order to receive, comprehend and deliver on expected request.
  • Identifies data issues and escalates to management in order to address deficiencies as identified through stakeholder engagement
  • Collaborates with other departmental members as needed
  • Maintains and develops necessary analytical competencies as needed
  • Participate in appropriate training sessions and share lessons learned
  • Competently applies knowledge of new skills learned to existing projects and to help assist stakeholders
  • Maintains and develops other competencies as needed for professional development

Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor degree is required, with a preferred concentration in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
  • A minimum of 2 years reporting experience is required
  • Experience working in a shared service center is preferred
  • Knowledge of Human Resources processes and functional knowledge is preferred
  • Experience in the use of various analytical tools such as data management/query (ex. SQL, etc.), statistical modeling (ex. SAS, SPSS, etc.), advanced visualization software (Tableau, Qlik, Cognos Alteryx etc.) is preferred
  • Strong Project/Account management skills with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment with tight timelines are required.
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources systems (Workday, SAP, etc.) is preferred
  • Experience utilizing technologies such as Teradata, Informatica, or other large scale analytics systems is strongly preferred
  • Must be proficient in English (written and spoken)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required
  • Exceptional Project Management skills in order to handle multiple projects with simultaneous priorities and deadlines is required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of reported information. Ability to quickly merge and summarize data/information from multiple sources, including experience in data management, cleaning, data analysis and report writing
  • Self-motivated, positive thinker, detail-oriented personality and a collaborative spirit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills is required. Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, lookup procedures and complex formulas with nested logic)
