Job Description
- Content Creation
- Compose biographical or informational articles on a variety of subjects.
- Choose and research appropriate topics and create an original passage based on the subject.
- With training, create testing materials for English language learners at various levels of proficiency, from beginners to near-native speakers.
- Editing
- Handle editing tasks - particularly editing English language testing instruments, as required.
- Rating and Assessment
- With proper training, assess and score various testing instruments including speaking test, writing test, and other items, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's/College degree, Post Graduate diploma, or a Master's degree in any field.
- Major in English or Applied Linguistics is a plus.
- Highly Proficient in the English language.
- Native or near-Native Speaker.
- Fluent in both oral and written.
- Preferably 0-2 years of experience specializing in Training and Development, Education, Journalism, Mass Media, or its equivalent.
- Experience or knowledge in any of the following areas is a definite plus.
- Aviation, creating and/or administering standardized testing instruments (i.e. IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC, etc.).
- Resided in native-speaking English countries (US, UK, Australia, etc.) are encouraged to apply.
- High level of discipline and motivation.
- Ability to meet reasonable deadlines.
- Willing to undergo extensive training.
- Willing to work in Malate, Manila - Near the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP).
