Job Description
- Oversees the production process, and drawing up a production schedule
- Ensures that the production is cost effective and efficient
- Decides what resources are required for the productions
- Evaluates and checks production processes, output, and all existing machineries
- Draft a timescale for a specific job
- Estimate costs and set the quality standards;
- Monitors the production processes and adjust schedules as needed;
- Responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;
- Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programs
- Liaise among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;
- Work with respective managers to implement the company's policies and goals;
- Ensures that health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Supervises and motivate a team of workers;
- Review regularly worker performance and quota’s
- Perform other-task as the need arises
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of Industrial Engineer or equivalent.
- With pleasing personality
- With good oral and written communication skills
- With good analytical, comprehension and people management skills
- Must have at least three (3) to Five (5) years’ working experiences handling a plant or production set up industry.
- Directly involved in the pre-production (planning) stage as well as the production (control and supervision) stage. A large part of the job is dealing with people management.
- Also, involved with product design and purchasing. The role may be integrated with other functions, such as marketing, sales and finance and other department as the need arises.
- Willing to work on extended hours and under a minimum supervision
