Job Description
- Familiarize themselves with the product, target audience, and competitor activities in the market.
- Brainstorm ideas and concepts for the visual and words with other members of the creative team
- Present initial ideas to the Creative Director, some of which may be rejected or developed into workable concepts.
- Write various copy options, which may be presented to the client as a story board (a consecutive series of frames depicting the script and drawings that may be used).
- Modify copy until the client is satisfied.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knows how to write for various mediums, such as print, web, radio, and television.
- Can work with Editors to determine tone and brainstorm ideas.
- May also work with a Designer or Art Director for Advertising.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
