Job Description

Growth Rocket is looking to fill an urgent opening for a Senior SEO Strategist. As a Senior SEO Strategist, you will be part of the company’s SEO strategic team and you will primarily be responsible for collaborating with the team and working with the SEO Director to audit clients websites, recommend enhancements suitable for SEO improvement (structure, content, Meta, technical SEO enhancements etc). The individual should have excellent english and communications skills, professional email ethics, perfect writing and grammar skills. The qualified individual should also be up-to-date with the most recent search engine algorithm updates including (but not limited to) panda, penguin, hummingbird etc. In short: you will be responsible for assessing website properties on-page elements, off-page, indexing, technical improvements, indexing, providing recommendations through reports and having them executed upon approval.

Your ancillary tasks include:

Audit on-page, off-page, indexing, technical SEO of websites that are in-line with the clients goals, objectives and Google's guidelines
Provide actionable recommendations reports to the SEO manager
Conduct internal linking structure audits, and technical audits such as website structure, page layouts, redirects, JS & CSS referencing, and programming standards
Internal linking & External Linking
Technical SEO
Utilize a wide variety of tools relevant to your responsibilities
Collaborate with SEO team to develop a comprehensive SEO strategy for clients
On-Page Enhancement Analysis

Minimum Qualifications

Our preferred candidate has experience in:

SEO (atleast 4 years experience)
E-commerce experience
HTML, CSS and Analytics
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Technical Audits
Reporting
