Field Administrator  

The Operations Administrator will assist the Campaign Manager by executing programs in the field, securing partners, managing stakeholder transactions and coordinating the HOPEx mission to be the first and leading substantial plastic offset company. You will be working with cross-functional teams and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support the Campaign Manager in understanding and identifying challenges in the field between various stakeholders.
2. Conduct research and feasibility studies to provide recommendations on solutions and impact calculations.
3. Assist in account and project management of the plastic offset platform both online and offline.
4. Engage and build relationships with various independent feedstock aggregators.

The Plastic Credit Exchange (HOPEx) is a non-profit founded by HOPE and its partners in order to prevent plastic waste from ending up in our oceans, landfills, and food chains. HOPEx takes plastic pledges from companies, and provides them with a way to offset their plastic footprints; that is, credible and verifiable post-consumer plastic removal from our environment. Overseen by a global steering committee, HOPEx maintains 100% transparency in its work.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for highly-organized, passionate and self-starter individuals that will help launch our plastic offset business

• Must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or any related courses
• Preferably with at least 1 year of solid experience as a Project Coordinator or Administrator for an environmental nonprofit or private organization
• Environmentally savvy and has a good grasp of existing and developing solutions to the plastic problem
• Excellent project management experience. Ability to balance competing priorities and deadlines and to handle multiple tasks
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Must be amenable to do field work
