Job Description

  • Monitors the daily mother meter reading from the water source and analyzes if there are possible losses
  • Reports and replaces defective meters immediately upon approval
  • Undertakes inspection and repair of defective waterlines, both minor and major
  • Assures proper chlorination of water supply on a daily basis
  • Collects water samples from the water sources to be tested in the nearest DOH accredited laboratory for monthly Microbiological test and annual Physical-Chemical Test
  • Submits weekly and monthly reports including the repairs
  • Facilitates monthly reading of customer’s individual water meter and submits accurate and timely reading report
  • Identifies and reports homeowners with an illegal connection to the water system, if necessary, report to the LGU.
  • Monitors Water Distribution Operators (Plumbers) assigned to the project for daily collections made, accountability for plumbing materials and tools and the job water system maintenance
  • Creates necessary request for materials including water meters, for repair and/or installations
  • Ensures that the water storage tanks are cleaned at least once a year.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with at least 1-3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
  • Office location is in Mandaluyong City but can be assigned to other project sites as needed;
  • Knowledgeable in creating/producing designs both initial outlines and full plans, of sewerage, water treatment and flood defence structures such as pump systems and pipe networks;
  • Knowledgeable in National Water Resources Board (NWRB) Policies is a plus;
  • Excellent customer service;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Must have a valid Driver's License and knows how to drive

CWSI is mainly responsible for the water supply and wastewater system requirements of Filinvest in recently awarded projects namely the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA)’s Clark Green City Project involving 288 hectares development and the Clark Development Corporation (CDC)’s lease and operation of the former Mimosa Leisure and Resorts, a 220-hectare prime property in Clarkfield, Pampanga.
