Job Description
Evident is seeking a highly motivated, smart and professional Financial Analyst with solid financial planning skills. This person will manage the facilitation of billing, financial analysis, and reporting. This is a great opportunity for a Financial Analyst who can handle a fast-paced environment with many interruptions and ad-hoc reporting tasks. You should also be a fantastic and professional communicator in order to liaise with our Project Teams concerning their budgets and forecasts.
The Financial Analyst is responsible for accumulating, developing and reporting key operational and financial metrics required to run the business.
- Creation and distribution of daily, weekly & monthly operational and financial metrics.
- Creation of cost estimates and financial forecasts for projects
- Weekly & monthly forecasting of those metrics
- Revenue and Expense Variance Analysis and Reporting
- Creation of standard reporting in support of executive staff and business managers
- Data mining and analysis in support of executive staff and business managers
- Revenue and Expense Variance Analysis and Reporting
- Operational and financial process improvement and testing
- Prepare summaries and analysis for supervisor, senior management, General Managers and team leads on performance and what counselors/management can be doing to grow client business
- Prepare re-forecasts of revenue by client, office, and region based on existing client engagements, new business pipeline, run rates, cyclical variations in business and staffing levels
- Plan and negotiate financial arrangements with new clients
- Other ad hoc projects and analysis as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Statistics, Management Engineering, Management, Business Administration, or similar degrees
- A proven ability to finalize and review internal financial statements, analyze and communicate results, recommend action, and develop forecasts and budgets in a collaborative fashion with the appropriate business leaders
- The ability to meet monthly and quarterly deadlines and apply appropriate judgment to analyzing various business situations
- A level of commitment and dedication to the business as well as a strong work ethic and customer service orientation in order to succeed
- In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting
- This individual must be a self-starter and highly motivated with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and cultures
- Highly motivated fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
