Job Description
- Monthly Recording Package and Analysis
- Review closing (balance sheet and P&L) provided by accounting
- Prepare reporting package including P&L of the Supermarket Business Unit, including:
- Consolidated figures of retail sites
- Variance analysis of operating and support sites
- Variance analysis of KPIs
- Summary of investments (CAPEX) and variances
- List issues and corrective actions
- Control
- Opex and Capex control
- Analyze margins, waste, and shrinkage and drive action plans
- Audit to ensure the accuracy of the sales/ purchases/ expenses
- Stock Management (system improvement of inventory module, define and monitor action plans related to stock level)
- Supply chain performance (report, KPIs, feasibility study)
- Asset management: monitor of purchase of assets compare to budget, determine store asset management procedure
- Policies and Procedures
- Propose retail accounting practices (recording rules, allocation of expenses, provisions, depreciation). Develop necessary system improvements
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting. Must be a CPA.
- At least 3-5 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including financial closing and operational control management
- Background in retail or hospitality is preferred
- At least a supervisory level experience
- Willing to relocate to/ work in Tabaco City, Albay
