UI Designer  

We are looking for a designer who has a natural inkling to want to build things with HTML and CSS (even a little Javascript). You want to excel at product design and building amazing services for people. You enjoy coding by hand as well as using a framework. You’ve worked with people and enjoyed it. In an alternate life, you were a sculptor who built beautiful statues with play dough when your city ran out of marble. You are one of the most resourceful designers you've known.

Working closely with the Product and User Experience team, a typical day may consist of sketching out the design for a reporting dashboard while creating hi-fi wireframes for another. You may even push some code for one of our prototypes. You will work closely with Product Managers spread across the globe, and Design lead to bring our newest features to the customers. Once you build it, our engineers will work their magic to help ship out complete features. You’ll be coached through tough problems and will have a diverse team providing you support, feedback, and challenging your assumptions. You’ll go home knowing you solved a critical piece of a complex problem resulting in success for our customers, our team, and yourself. • Strong background in design, specifically, Interaction, Information, and Visual Design

• Design Tool Agnostic - Sketch or Photoshop, Principle or Origami, you’ve switched through enough tools that you don’t care

• Front-End Development Chops, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Creating layouts and hierarchy, illustrations, and visual design elements

• Ability to clearly express yourself both in person and on paper

• Comfortable presenting your work to remote team members and working with feedback

• 3 to 5 years of experience working in an agency or a design role in a startup

• Interaction Design: Wire-framing, Sketching, Prototyping

• Relationship Building, including writing email, and communication with fast-paced teams (your teammates will be across 4 continents)

• Sense of curiosity and ability to form and defend a strong point of view
