Job Description
- Identifies areas of potential liability within the operations by knowing the performance standards required in these areas.
- Plants out activities considering workload spares unit materials and manpower availability, established priorities as necessary. Organizes crew by giving specific assignments and instructions considering their individual skills, requisition for additional personnel obtain for overtime required to accomplish in the work load.
- Makes regular round various rounds of various work locations of his crew, check on progress of their work, instructs them on appropriate work procedure to his crew. Checks the overall performance of electrical equipment through the various control centers. Read and interprets gauge / indicators to detect any equipment abnormalities.
- Responds immediately to operational electrical troubles. May dispatch the electrician to conducts preliminary investigation of reported trouble or troubleshoot and analyzes electrical trouble to isolate probable cause and to accommodate more pressing repair works as called by the current conditions. Perform and lead in the repair of major breakdown where the voltages are generally high or to absorb overflow on workloads. Give out specific tasks to his team and closely coordinates their work to expedite completion of repair required.
- In case of major electrical breakdown, makes an estimate of the time required to restore the equipment / electrical installations to operational conditions. Confers with production supervisor and brief him with his findings. Personally attends to trouble on high voltage equipment / installation.
- Assess upon and approve or prepares requisitions for spare parts work, materials, tools and spare units required. Examines defective /worn-out components/sub-assembled to determine nature of repair, rebuilding, or reconditioning to be done or necessity for replacing it. Examines rebuilt/recondition or replacement parts for conformity to specifications prior to reassembly.
- Directs the extension of requisite assistance to mechanical crew. See to it that they are promptly provided with electrical facilities. In the manner, secure from their assistance for services required by electrical maintenance work.
- Participates in the formulation and development of the plant for comprehensive maintenance and programs and orderly conducts of periodic shutdown activities of the department.
- See to it that the proper adherence to requirement of the Bureau of Labor Standards on the operation of Powerhouse and distribution of power. Ensures that adequate control is installed and safety measures are observed.
- Assists the management in the attainment of the company’s short and long term goals and direction.
- Performs other related duties as maybe assigned to him from time to time by his superior in the attainment of Departmental objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic)
- Preferably Licensed.
- With exposure in Cement, Power, or other related Industries
- Willing to Work in Bulacan
- Experience with High Voltage Equipment is a must.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field and handling people.
