Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are currently seeking accomplished Full Stack Developers who are passionate about technology and loves pushing the boundaries to be an inherent part of the organization. You will be part of a fast paced, team oriented, collaborative organization. Ensuring client satisfaction with the solutions, services and support is a key measure of success in this position. You are responsible for defining technical decisions, developing new products/services, and maintaining, enhancing and existing products/services.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in both frontend and backend development in a fast paced agile development team, building enterprise grade software systems.
- Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
- Work directly with a designer to help in the creation of website user interface; coordinate with other developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products
- Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
- Explain technical products to both technical and non-technical audience
- Full spectrum of developing applications (front-end and back-end)
Minimum Qualifications
- An Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
- Must have an extensive experience in Object-Oriented Programming
- Must have an extensive experience in SOLID Principles
- Strong background and extensive experience in Front-End Development is highly regarded.
- At least 5 years or more of solid experience and understanding of application programming, web development, web API, database and system architecture
- Track record in applying the principles of a software development lifecycle
- Proficient with web and desktop applications design, architecture, development and testing
- Advanced experience in writing and working from a functional and technical specification
- Good knowledge and working experience with a majority of the below technology stacks and toolsets:
- Design and Patterns: Microservices, MVC. MVVM, CQRS, Clean Architecture
- Core Technologies: C#, .Net, .Net Core, SQL
- Web: HTML5, CSS3+ and Bootstrap, ASP.NET (incl. WebAPI and MVC 5+ JavaScript, JQuery, Angular or Vue.js, React)
- Cloud: AWS, Azure
- Tools: Git, JIRA, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy
- Methodology: Kanban, SCRUM
- Good To Haves: nodejs, Docker, Kubernetes, PHP, Ruby, Python
- Willing to extend and improve basic .Net skills and possibly on other technologies
- Basic understanding of creating & consuming web services and APIs
- An understanding of branding, with strong attention to detail
- A strong work ethic complimented by solid administrative skills
- Strong technical documentation/interpretation skills
- Must have a genuine passion and knowledge of the latest trends in digital technologies and a pixel perfect attention to detail
- An advocate of lean design and love working in a fast-paced environment who can work between both worlds – collaborate in the design world, but also live and work in the technical world
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members Ability to adapt and grow into sustaining existing systems and applying new technologies as the industry evolves
