Job Description

Prepares engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
Adheres to the company's drafting standards.
Liaises with Clients, Design Engineers, Project Management team and Operations groups, regarding Project drafting requirements.
Assist Bid Estimators in Quantity Take-off and estimates.
Complies with the proper operating procedures of safety and health standards and regulations.
Supports Environmental Management System with respect to their job.
Adheres to Policies/Procedures, Employee Code of Ethics and Conduct, and Corporate Governance.
Protect intellectual property, company proprietary and confidential information.
May perform other duties as necessary or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

College Degree most preferably with background experience in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
Training in multiple CAD programs and platforms, general computing theory and a variety of productivity applications.
Ability to read and interpret engineering and construction drawings; Can do Quantity Take-off and Estimates, Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledgeable in Micro station, Civil 3D drafting software; Plotter and printer operation; Manual drafting; Knowledgeable in MS Office.
At least 1-2 years of experience developing detailed engineering drawings from preliminary through final design.
