You will work in our first store to be opened first semester 2017 in Alabang. Some other stores around Metro Manila will open soon.

You will belong to the pioneer team and we will build together our dream, to make accessible the sport for the many, thanks to our in-house innovated passion brand product at unbeatable value for money surrounding 70 sports displayed in our outstanding big store where customers will experience the happiness to discover and practice sports! We will make no concession on the quality and safety of our product to guarantee our motto “satisfied or satisfied”.

Decathlon Philippines is in a pioneer phase and we are looking for a web and social media content manager in order to coordinate and write content to be published on our various communication channels including social media, blog and website.

As a content manager, you need to be a sport passionate with a strong willing to share about your passion, as well as a good listener always attentive to our users.

You will gather content and write our social media posts and our blog articles, sharing the purpose and the core values of the company with our users. You will plan our social media campaigns and coordinate our teammates who will also share their passion about sport with our users.

Being part of the Decathlon family, you will also be an active member of the team in our stores selling our products and dealing directly with our users.

Your challenges will be:

• To develop content strategy to create great user experience
• Create and publish engaging content
• Edit, proofread and improve writers’ posts
• Liaise with store team members to ensure brand consistency and great user experience
• Optimize content according to SEO
• Use content management systems to analyze website traffic and users engagement metrics
• Manage content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic
• Develop an editorial calendar and ensure store team members are on board
• Collaborate with other teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout
• Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
• Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audience’s attention
• In-store responsibility in the department of your favourite sport (experiencing with our users and products)

• You must practice a sport on a regular basis.
• Knowledgeable in work of a content manager is a plus factor.
• Excellent writing skills in English
• Experience with social media and user engagement
• Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
• Hands on experience with graphics software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing is a plus
• Attention to detail
• Good organizational and time-management skills
