Job Description
- Assigns articles to writer (if no one has claimed in 24 hours, or if they have a specific person in mind)
- Cascade new update/s regarding blog structure, branding, etc
- Liaison between Account Managers and Writers
- Bi-monthly/ monthly touch base
- Collates feedback from Account Managers/QAs and relay it to writer/s as sort of general reminder for the week; do coaching if necessary
- Check Client Infographic/video tracker and assign to writers scripts
- Manage Training and Development of new writers, and continual development of existing writers
- Edit articles (pass back if it needs overhaul: Send to writer, cc EM.)
- Work with Project Manager and Account Manager to relay information
- Understand the brand voice and make sure writing matches client style and needs
- Check: Copyscape, hemingway, grammar, branding, special requests, (should take 30-50 mins)
- Meets KPIs - strives to meet weekly deliverables for PH articles
- Can handle at least 10 sites. (may change)
- Provide feedback to writers as necessary
- Coordinate with Editorial Manager the writers whose contents are not up to par for coaching and/ or proper sanction
- Can Market Muse and SEO when done with CPL tasks
Admin Tasks:
- Reminds writers to update invoice/ signs off to invoice
- Monitor the TAT of the assignment/ writer, follow up the assignment
- Sends verbal warning/ NTEs to writers if necessary
Extra Time:
- Help on editing articles
- Help Market Muse
- Other additional tasks that Utilize Writer Manager skillsets
Minimum Qualifications
- Keen to details
- Must know how to follow instructions
- Can work under minimum supervision
- Committed to meeting deadlines and schedules
- Excellent English Communication Skills
- Knowledge of Google docs, excel etc.
- Wordpress knowledge
- SEO skills - keyword research
- Basic knowledge of Adobe and Fireworks (preferred)
Home-Office Requirements
- Desktop computer or laptop (Windows 7 and above)
- At least 2mbps Wired Internet Connection - Router/modem should be physically connected to a wired line (phone line, fiber optics or cable)
- CPU (Processor) - Dual Core Processor or above
