Coins.ph is looking for a Lead Product Designer to join our team in the Philippines (Manila). This is a unique opportunity to shape product design and experience for a quickly growing digital wallet platform. We’re looking for someone to collaborate with a talented global team to build products that serve the day-to-day financial needs of millions of customers throughout Southeast Asia.
This role is inherently full of unique design challenges, as you’ll be tasked to build intuitive mobile wallet products for customers on a broad spectrum of financial and technical literacy, including those who have never interacted with traditional financial products and institutions.

- Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to build visually appealing and engaging features, and identify and resolve user experience pain points
- Efficiently execute each stage of the product design process, from cross-disciplinary business requirements gathering, to initial wireframing and prototyping, to creating finalized UI, to working with developers to ship polished product
- Design intuitive and consistent user flows and interactions across platforms, incorporating a solid understanding of platform-specific opportunities and limitations
- Conduct both quantitative and qualitative user research and iterate rapidly upon the results to optimize product in a data driven, fast paced environment
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Design, Art, Human-Computer Interaction, or a similar field

Experience designing products for customers in the Philippines or Southeast Asia

Experience designing FinTech products

Experience and understanding of front end and/or mobile development

4-9 years of experience in fast-paced creative environments
- Shareable design portfolio (Dribbble, Behance, personal site) showcasing UX/UI design work
- Highly refined aesthetic sense and deep understanding of fundamental design principles
- Cross-platform design experiences (Android, iOS, web) and experience shipping product
- Experience working directly with engineers, product managers and key business stakeholders in the development process
- Experience with various user research methodologies applied across the product development process
- Strong ability to think critically and clearly articulate design decisions and processes
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and precise attention to detail
- Based in, or willing to relocate, to Metro Manila (Philippines)
