Job Description
- You will be expected to answer all incoming calls and if necessary direct them to the appropriate person or take messages.
- Another of your primary roles is to provide customer service. This includes the processing of all orders received via, phone or email. Ensuring that the system is updated after each order. You may be required to send out literature to customers, or to follow up on account enquiries
- Providing technical support on our range of Intrusion, Fire & Access products. This role will incorporate a technical support / training function.
- Providing phone Support over public holidays (phone will be provided) between 9am-5pm is required from time to time, and the remuneration allows for this.
- Implementing and documenting procedures to ensure the smooth running of the branch
- Administrative tasks such as word processing, data entry, preparing info folders, mailing, RMA processing, greeting visitors, and providing them with tea /coffee and other conveniences from time to time.
- Part of the job involves telephone sales. This is due to the high amount of customer contact, and you will be encouraged to up-sell whenever possible. Bonuses are paid to team members that can up-sell target products.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in Technical support for security
- Electronic security technical installation experience
Pref with Bosch & Sony or another well known security brands including:
- DSC
- Paradox
- Inner Range
- Gallagher
- DMP
- Qolsys
- HikVision/Dahua (CCTV)
- Frontline customer service experience pref with western customers.
- Bosch Certification is a plus
- Strong command of the English language
- Proven adherence to deadlines
- Working in virtual teams
- Working in busy environments
- Knowledge - 100% Alarm and Access product knowledge and basic CCTV knowledge
- Has experience with Residential CCTV Security. Commercial CCTV Security Troubleshooting is a bonus.
