Job Description
As an SEO link building specialist, your main mission is to research, find and generate backlinks pointing to specific websites.
At BUNCH, we use data to measure performance. There will be no supervisors and every individual is accountable for their own results, making each one have the opportunity to learn, explore technology and design their own career.
The primary responsibilities of an SEO link building specialist are:
- Concentrating on producing Internet content that's going to get optimal results with search engines
- Increasing ranking and relevance of websites by acquiring high-quality link placements on websites with good PA/DA scores
- Tracking and evaluating the performance of organic keywords in major search engines
- Monitoring daily search engine health, traffic or assigned websites
- Keeping abreast of the latest SEO off-page strategies and commercial methods
- Providing feedback on how to create more linkable assets
- Using web-based tools to submit multiple business listings (citations)
- Providing recommendations to improve overall digital marketing efforts to help increase the client’s online profile
- Assisting the company in other SEO-related campaigns
- Working with web developers and web designers to ensure that online content will get a high ranking from search engines
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in SEO, Internet Marketing and other related job functions
- College graduate or undergraduate, or completed 2 years of any vocational program
- Familiar with Semrush, Moz, aHref and other SEO tools
- Good knowledge of HTML
- Good Google Sheets skills (for bulk data)
- Experience in working with many different off-page marketing avenues and campaigns:
- Content marketing
- Resource page link building
- Blogger and media outreach
- Local citation and listings
- Broken link building
- Infographics creation and submission
- Directory submission
- Business/social bookmarking
- Blog commenting
- Forum posting
- Competitive backlinking
- Other modern link acquisition techniques
- Good communication skills both orally and written
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Familiarity with social media sites
- Marketing skills
- Strong computer skills
- Passion for search engine optimization and must show it
