- Organize and maintain financial records
- Acts as overall head of Accounting department
- Improve businesses efficiency where money is concerned
- Suggest ways to reduce costs
- Give recommendations to enhance revenues and improve profits
- Examine statements to ensure accuracy
- Ensure prompt payment to suppliers
- Audit account books
- Inspect accounting systems to keep up to date
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Preferably at least 2-3 years supervisory/managerial experience
- Certified Public Accountant
- Strong accounting skills and attention to detail required.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Access and Project is a plus.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer-based accounting applications required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills required.
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) required.
- Demonstrates consistency in values, principles and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners
- Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload to meet client needs
