QHSE Specialist

• Assist the “QHSE Supervisor and/or Lead Auditor” function for the implementation of Integrated Management System (IMS) internal audit of the organization.
• Assist the QHSE Supervisor and/or Lead in any external (Clients, Certifying Body, 3rd Party, Regional, HQ, Gov’t, Others) QHSE related audits and certifications of the organization.
• Liaise with different government agencies and ensure that assigned mandatory documents and reports are submitted without undue delay.
• Conducts assigned Supplier/Vendor site audit assessment.
• Source out cost-effective vendor/supplier for QHSE related supplies, equipment and services requirements of the organization.
• Supports Sales and Project Managers on customer inquiries and requirements related to QHSE management systems by providing information, documents, records and answering assessment questionnaire forms.
• Ensure that the QHSE Management System (MS) is implemented and maintained in all departments and levels of the organization. Supports sister entities BLPI and BLASSI on QHSE MS implementation.
• Ensure that the QHSE, Security, Business Continuity and Alcohol and Substance Abuse policies of the organizations are communicated and implemented throughout the organization
• Provide and assist QHSE related training, induction and awareness are given to all employees of the organization according to plan
• Schedule and perform internal QHSE audits with assistance from the team of trained internal auditors within the organization; conduct internal audits prior to the certification and surveillance audit by a 3rd party certifying body
• Ensure corrective actions are taken as a result of internal QHSE audits, quality related incidents (such as customer complaint and feedback), HSE incidents and accidents and external audit results, where appropriate
• Provide assistance in the conduct of periodic Management Review with all the department heads and managers to ensure sustainability and compliance of the company’s Management Systems according to the different ISO standards

• Graduate of any Bachelor’s degree,
• Has completed the Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) and PCO training course
• Must have at least one (1) year related experience in handling different management systems
• Familiar with the requirements and technical aspects of different management systems
• Knowledgeable with the local occupational, safety and health, environmental, legal and regulatory requirements
• Knowledgeable on Project Logistics and Freight Forwarding industry
• Can work in a team or individually
• Organized and systematic
• Able to response to all queries in a timely manner
• Able to find solutions and implement them accordingly
• Ability to multi-task
• Can work and deliver under pressure
• Excellent reporting, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
