Job Description
- Supporting applications and working with SQL and Oracle, MS SQL Server and MySQL databases, Windows and Linux operating systems as well as networking.
- Troubleshooting and configuration tasks, as well as creating technical documentation and providing training to other technical personnel.
- Will also be required to help internal users with application issues, apply upgrades and patches to fix documented issues.
- Use monitoring tools to prevent future problems and perform application performance analysis, including but not limited to player-facing websites, core system services, APIs and bespoke software.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- Background in Java, .NET and PHP applications.
- Good knowledge of SQL, preferably with Oracle, MS SQL Server or MySQL databases
- Ability to interpret and debug application log files on Linux and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of JVM, IIS and Apache HTTP, monitoring and performance tuning Java, .NET and PHP applications, as well as troubleshooting issues in highly transactional production environments
- Knowledge of using RESTful web service APIs
- Previously worked on large scale multi-threaded projects • Demonstrable knowledge of Linux and Windows
- Experience with issue trackers and development tools e.g. Service Now, JIRA, Eclipse, Visual Studio
- Excellent organization skills.
- Superior communications skills, both written and verbal
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting highly transactional, high volume distributed server applications
- Previously worked on sports betting or financial trading systems is a big plus • Exposure to automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins or Puppet
- Experience in ITIL, end-to-end support and/or related methodologies
- Extra points if you have some hands-on experience programming in Java, .NET, PHP or Ruby or have developed web apps in HTML/JavaScript
- Candidate Must be willing to work in Makati City, Philippines
