Job Description
- Responsible for General Accounting but not limited to Bank Reconciliation, Financial Reporting, BIR and regulatory compliance, Budget Management, and Fixed Asset Management.
- Performs financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash management activities.
- Ensures that all journal entries are timely and accurately posted
- Prepares month-end reports, balance sheet analysis, profit and loss statement, working capital analysis.
- Performs monthly closing and reporting activities.
- Perform reviews and reconciliation of balance sheet and nominal accounts, bank reconciliations, petty cash and supplies audits.
- Ensures day to day finance activities and transactions such as review of data entries, proper documentation and filing of such transactions.
- Validates payroll summary before payout.
- Ensure compliance to local rules and regulations such as taxation, local permits, SEC reporting and other government reporting activities.
- Create new internal accounting corporate policies and maintain existing policies.
- Handle billing and collections as well as other financial transactions
- Preparation, filing and payment of BIR remittances such as withholding taxes (Expanded and Compensation), VAT, Annual and Quarterly Income Statement.
- Responsible for the monthly reporting of all general ledger reconciliations and monthly,quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Performs other related duties that might be task by the CEO
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- 3-5 years experience required
- Must have experience in General Accounting
- Experience in Accounting/Auditing firm required
- Strong technical financial accounting skills
- Xero experience an advantage
- Strong attention to detail, for reconciliations and month end
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to function well in a tight knit and cohesive team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate, advanced level in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Willing to work at our Ortigas office everyday
