Job Description
- Design and develop highly scalable, end-to-end pipeline for processing and analysing large volumes of complex data
- Understand how the data flows from source to sink irrespective of tech. stack used
- Ensure high data quality and integrity from data sources
- Support the team with data or analytics request
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc
- Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets
- An enormous sense of ownership
Minimum Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Solid understanding on Google Cloud Platform for Data Management: Composer, Pubsub, Google Storage, Dataflow, Big Query, & Data Fusion
- Savvy with Python or Java
- Solid understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases and other data manipulation tools
- Proven track record in designing and implementation of numerous complex data flows to connect operational systems
- Experience with stream-processing systems: Storm, Spark-Streaming, etc
Plus point if you have:
- Experience in using Airflow and Hadoop
