Job Description
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of the Office for Mission and Identity (OMI), the Program Coordinator designs, implements and manages assigned OMI programs. S/he liaises with units for the proper execution of projects and interventions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Program Management
- Conceptualizes, designs and implements programs that address formation needs of employees
- Ensures the proper implementation of programs and projects assigned
- Evaluates the program/s and makes necessary changes and adjustments for improvement
- Monitors the logistical support provided by the Program Assistant for the assigned programs and ascertains the proper performance of responsibilities
2. Facilitation and Process Management
- Handles the implementation of assigned programs and activities
- Ensures the proper carrying out of processes and program flows of formation endeavors
3. Coordination and Liaison
- Represents OMI to various offices for the promotion and presentation of OMI formation programs
- Acts as main contact person of resource speakers for the programs
- Initiates discussion with OMI Team, and collaborates with different unit/s in the university to discuss and present formation programs and activities of the office
4. Budget and Financial Management
- Prepares and proposes budget of the assigned programs and activities
- Accounts for the responsible use, disbursement and liquidation of all financial matters related to respective program/s
- Ensures payments to and from OMI are processed properly and in a timely manner
- Ascertains the correct and prompt distribution of honorarium and/or tokens to human resource complement of the program/s
- Monitors expenditures, supplies, processes liquidation and makes sure programs and activities are implemented according to approved or target budget
5. Performance of other office-related tasks that may be assigned by the OMI Director from time to time
Minimum Qualifications
- College degree holder
- With work experience in formation-related; previous work experience or familiarity with the Ateneo de Manila educational system is an advantage;
- With knowledge and experience of Ignatian Spirituality
- With facilitation skills
- Has planning and organization skills, which includes budgeting
- Knowledge in designing learning programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and internet usage
- Team player
- Must be hardworking, systematic and able to cope well with short deadlines & significant pressure
- Has initiative and can work with minimum supervision
