Job Description
The Work:
- Management and development of current APAC Bioskills operations and surgical workshop team
- Operating budget reporting responsibilities for the Philippine-based business
- Support of any APAC Bioskills business adjacencies which expand into the Philippine market
- Recruitment, induction, training and retention of a Philippines-based operations and course workshop execution team
- Recruitment, induction, training and retention of anatomical specimen processing team
- Responsible for financial record keeping and reporting of event workshops
- Meticulous tracking, record keeping, data collection, and analysis of anatomical speicmen inventory
- Function as primary point of communication contact for international customers post-event contract execution
- Direct the development of operational processes
- Identification of office and laboratory expenses; workforce planning for the Philippine business
Minimum Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Tagalog
- Bachelor’s degree with strong performance record from a leading university
- 7+ years of work experience in operations, an operating room, event management, hospitality, or manger role
- Proven track record of building or growing a business / team
- Demonstrated ability to attract, develop and retain top talent
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to lead lean, cross-functional teams in start-up/growth environments
- Able to stand or walk continuously for 12 hours during course events
- College level knowledge of Musculoskeletal Anatomy
- Not afraid to roll up his/her sleeves and get hands dirty
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree or comparable advanced degree
- Fluency in additional languages such as Korean, Mandarin, or Japanese
- Able to carry 15 kgs and able to push / pull 30 kgs
- Surgical operating room experience / hospital experience

About APAC Bioskills Corporation
APAC Bioskills Corporation is a surgical skills enhancement company, incorporated in Metro Manila, Philippines, that creates a mock operating room environment for hands-on cadaveric surgeon education events and will service Philippine, Japanese, Chinese and Asia-Pacific physicians, healthcare professionals, and medical device companies.
Training with fresh human anatomical tissues has been severely limited until APAC Bioskills was founded in July 2014. We support medical education designed exclusively for surgeons and interventionalists to practice and perform today’s newest and most advanced surgical procedures. We partner with hospitals such as St. Luke’s, Cardinal Santos, University of Santo Tomas, and the Medical City to name a few. Workshops are presented in full or half-day courses to train physicians in skills related to joint arthroscopy, ligament repair, orthopaedic trauma, joint resurfacing and replacement and spine surgery.
