Job Description

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
Reach52 is seeking for a person to work under limited term, part time contract as a Payment Integrator to take on the role of helping us designing, assuring and delivering integrated payment services for our applications. The payment service has to work in an off line mode with our marketplace applications. It is anticipated that users will be able to store payment details in our service and when they need to purchase additional medication the payment authorisation is captured off line and then payment process completed when the authorisation is relayed to the back office.

The role will involve working within the team on two parts:
Part 1: Will be working to assess the market and engage with gateway providers to identify any services that could be used to deliver payments, together with the detail of an in-house build option. Options to be costed and presented. The chosen option is to be designed and a resourced plan to be produced.

Part 2: Given satisfactory completion of Part 1, we will execute the plan and require someone to oversee the successful delivery of an assured and accredited solution.

ROLE SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The core role scope and responsibilities of the Payments Consultant for Part 1 will be:
  • Market assessment of payment gateway services that may lend themselves to off-line use;
  • Gateway provider engagement to gain a deeper understanding of shortlisted solutions;
  • Development of conceptual solution designs to illustrate strengths and weaknesses of different products and services;
  • Developing of solution options, costs and high level plans;
  • Presentation and involvement in decision making process to identify a preferred option;
  • Documentation production as required;
  • Recognition of security and data privacy limitations of solutions;
  • The core role scope and responsibilities of the Payments Consultant for Part 2 will be:
  • To provide expertise to support successful project delivery
  • To lead on accreditation and assurance of the delivered solution such that it meets the needs of Gateway Providers
  • To support a process to allow nominated employee(s) to take over the ongoing assurance and accreditation.

Minimum Qualifications

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • The ideal candidate will have:
  • 5+ years’ experience in payments systems with understanding or experience of off-line payment requirements;
  • Ability to communicate well with developers and non-technical persons both within the organisation and outside;
  • Appreciation of the need for design and assurance in a fast-moving organisation;
  • Experience of the need for security and data privacy;
  • Knowledge in the following and prepared to learn others as required:
  • Payment Gateway provision or consumption
  • Gateway APIs
  • Software Assurance
  • Accreditation and Assurance
  • Security implications of payment systems
  • Risk management
  • Ability remote work as a subject matter expert and leader within teams;
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and/or social enterprise is an advantage;
  • Good written and oral communication in English is a must, other regional dialects/languages is an advantage;
  • Strong team working skills and flexibility to work as part of a small-but-growing start-up team.
