- Buy the necessary items from the best suppliers in the quickest duration possible.
- Transfer items to alternative suppliers in case of non availability until the sourcing is successful.
- Be in charge of sending PO's to suppliers.
- Monitor and coordinate suppliers' deliveries to ensure all items are delivered on time.
- Reconcile PO and delivery Receipts/Sales Invoice.
- Coordinate supplier's delivery schedules to warehouse.
- Gather necessary information related to stock availability and pricing issues.
- Assist the Purchasing Analyst's in sourcing new and reliable suppliers.
- Maintain good working relationships with suppliers.
- Coordinate with Accounting Department to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoice as necessary for the business with the supplier.
- Perform tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors / College degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Engineering, or its equivalent.
- 1- year relevant experience as a Purchasing Assistant.
- Strong analytical and planning skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
