Job Description
- Processes the following:
- Financial transactions and ensure appropriate documentation of accounts with full compliance to company’s regulations, policies, and internal controls
- Cash advances, reimbursements, and liquidations
- Compile and prepare periodic financial reports which include monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on a timely basis
- Performs the following:
- General accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statement, and cash flows
- Other related functions as needed
- Financial analysis and assists in the preparation of the company’s yearly budget
- Endorses cash disbursements by verifying check amounts against invoices, authorizing checks and wire transfers (if applicable) for approval
- Handle and maintain accounts payable files, including invoices and check copies
- Drive compliance with government agency requirements i.e., SEC, BIR, SSS, HDMF, PhilHealth, LGUs, etc
- Assesses completeness, accuracy, and integrity of accounting data and records and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles
- Keeps track of documentations and accounting records. Effectively communicates with employees and maintain a positive working relationship when addressing problems and coming up with solutions
- Provides financial support for forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from the budget. Analyzes and prepares statutory accounts and financial statements and reports
- Supports annual audit, both internal and external
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
Minimum Qualifications
- CPA with at least 2 years work experience either in an operating company and /or audit
- Proficient in using accounting software, MS Office applications, and business intelligence tools
- Knowledgeable in various platforms e.g., SAP, BIR eFPS, etc.
- Skilled at both oral and written communication that can influence others. Uses effectual examples and visual aids that have an impact on the audience
- Has the following traits:

- Can enlist the support and cooperation of others and encourage them to be proactive
- Achieves goals in a timely manner while providing excellent client service.
- Can work with and manage direct reports not only for assigning tasks but also ensure professional development/growth for his direct reports when opportunities arise
- Applies technical knowledge and expertise to manage deliverables
- Ability to do the following:
- Work with minimal supervision
- Work in a team environment
- Obtain information from several sources to address present needs
- Respond to the clients and anticipate their needs
