Job Description
- Oversees the functions of planning, logistics, and quality assurance
- Prepares the distribution plan to support forecast of the company
- Works with Merchandising and Sales to ensure attainment of customer service level per location
- Decides on the inventory and planning parameters like safety stocks, lead time, etc. that will support the overall company objectives
- Tracks and monitors all deliveries to all retail touchpoints of ABS-CBN and its suppliers
- Implements agreed on controls and procedures to prevent losses, pilferage and other audit issues
- Controls and manages disposition of excess and obsolete inventory
- Supports the move out of excess, discontinued and other non-productive inventory
- Create strategies that ensure the continuing improvement in all the department processes that leads to attainment of KPIs in service and Inventory
- Budget management
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a related discipline such as business administration or supply chain management;
- Experience in working with FMCG/COSMETICS/RETAIL industry with a proven track record of supply chain, demand planning and customer collaboration preferred;
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills;
- Strong IT/systems use, with good Excel skills;
- Working knowledge of software related to demand planning is preferred;
- Experience managing internal communications, working cross functionally to deliver results; Strong interpersonal skills are also essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of the business affecting the forecast process;
- Strong communicator to all levels, experience dealing with senior level professionals;
- Be looking to continuously improve and can demonstrate ability to remain calm under pressure;
- Strong time management and organizational skills;
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods
