Job Description
Position Summary:
- For StarStudio Magazine: Conceptualize and create articles for the website
- To attract and interact with targeted virtual communities and network users
- To engage readership with interesting and quality content on the website and on the brand’s social media platforms
- Achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically publishing content and all around content conceptualization
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Able to perform thorough research on various topics and have a keen eye for detail.
- Deliver good quality content like news posts, reviews and features.
- Update social media accounts with the latest trends on travel
- Contribute to idea generation for publication
- Writing of short items for the news feeds
- Participate in ideation during content planning
- Create connections among target communities, influencers, etc.
- Execute content strategies provided by the EIC
- Create relevant and up-to-date content
Minimum Qualifications
- College graduate (preferably with a degree in Journalism, Mass Communications, Creative Writing)
- With experience in creating content for music
- Social media savvy
- Excellent writing, presentation, communication skills (English, Filipino)
- Ability to follow strict deadlines and fact-check information
- Positive attitude, detail, and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Willing to travel for content gathering and creation
- Willing to work long hours, weekends
- Willing to work on a program-based employment
