Senior Procurement Specialist  

The requirement is for Aboitiz InfraCapital, Inc., the infrastructure arm of Aboitiz.

The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for leading the implementation of the procurement processes to efficiently and effectively enable business units and functional partners to maximize the value they receive from suppliers to meet their objectives. The incumbent will work with each business unit to lead centralized direct and indirect sourcing and procurement efforts. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for formulating theprocurement policies, procedures and guidelines based on directions set by management and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the formulation of procurement policies, procedures and
  guidelines.
• Creation and management of short and mid-term goals and
  objectives based on strategies and long-term goals set by management
• Implement end-to-end processing of approved purchase requisitions
  • Checking of purchase requests for compliance
  • Canvassing for possible suppliers
  • Preparation of quotation analysis report
  • Preparation and expediting purchase orders
  • Arranging and facilitating delivery of items per end-user requirement
• Coordination with end-users with regards to their requirements
  (specifications, timeliness of delivery and after sales support).
• Prepares and maintains proper documentation of purchases including
  purchase requisitions, quotations, analysis reports, purchase orders,
  delivery receipts and invoices.
• Recommendation of procurement systems and tools to use to
  management.
• Ensures compliance of purchases and logistics activities to
  government regulations
• Manages approved budget and resources allotted for procurement.

• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management, economics, finance, operations, engineering or any related areas
• At least five(5) years work experience in procurement and logistics with excellent knowledge in sourcing and supplier accreditation. Exposure in formulation of policies, procedures, and guidelines.
