Job Description
The Reputation Management Staff is responsible for developing and implementing the Company’s strategic function of reputation management through stakeholder relations, community relations, corporate communications, internal or external communications, branding, and media relations.
He/she is also tasked to engage, build, and maintain relationships with the local communities and other stakeholders to maintain or improve positive community relations.
The successful candidate will also assist the Reputation Management Team in developing and implementing the corporate social responsibility (CSR) projects and programs in conformance with the goals and objectives of the Company.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Assist in developing and implementing the Stakeholder Management plan.
- Operationalize the Stakeholder Management System.
- Handle requests and concerns from stakeholders that will impact the Company.
- Execute and monitor stakeholder engagement projects.
- Attend and handle meetings with various stakeholders.
- Prepare reports when requested by the ExCom/General Manager for Stakeholder Management-related projects and activities.
Community Relations:
- Assist in the conceptualization and development of the strategic Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework for the company based on its goals and objectives.
- Implement, monitor completion, and conduct post-implementation assessment of approved CSR projects.
- Ensure active participation of team members to the CSR activities of the company.
- Communicate the CSR performance of the company to various stakeholders.
Corporate Communication and Branding:
- Develop communications for release to internal and external audiences which conforms to Company objectives and key messages for approval by the General Manager.
- Coordinate with the media for cascade of communications such as company or project updates, and CSR activities, to external audiences
- Ensure the monitoring of media reports/stories and social networking sites, and alert Company officials on critical posts.
- Maintain good media relationship for positive media relations.
- Assist the General Manager in the presentation of Company and project information and updates to stakeholders as the need arises.
- Handle written, photo and video documentation of meetings, events and activities.
- Conceptualize, develop, and implement branding-related initiatives and activities.
Other functions:
- Prepare the Weekly Work Bulletin for ExCom.
- Assist the Stakeholder Relations Officer and Community Relations Officer in the preparation of reports for meetings.
- Handle written, photo, and video documentation of meetings, events, and activities
- Ensure the department’s expenditures are within budget.
- Readily assume tasks requiring immediate or urgent attention that may be reasonably assigned by the General Manager.
- Conduct monitoring of daily/weekly/monthly tasks.
- Handle cascade of internal and external correspondences.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of Communications, Community Development, or any related course
- Experience in community development, stakeholder relations, corporate communication, media relations, and branding an advantage
- Will be assigned in Davao
