Job Description
- To ensure that WPI and its subsidiaries are compliant with applicable laws,its contracts, Articles of Incorporation, Shareholders agreements, polices and procedures, and sound business practices in ordert to maintain good business relationships, and to avoid reputational damage and liabilities arising from non-compliance.
- To ensure thal all transactions of the Company are covered by a live contract and thal all contracts accurately reflect the intention of the parties, and do not expose the companies to unintended or unnecessary risks
- To prosecute the claims of, and defend any claims or charges against, the Company
- To act as Data Privacy Officer
- Risk Management (Contracts, Litigation and Labor)
- Corporate Governance (Legal and Regulatory Compliance, Data Privacy, JVA/SHA Compliance and Ad hoc consultation)
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be Bachelor of Laws and a bar passer
- Member of good standing in the Integrated Bar of the Philippines
- At least five (5) years relative working experience
- Up-to-date knowledge in data privacy, MCLE compliance, labor, civil ,criminal, remedial and corporate law
- Has the ability to review and prepare contracts and identify provisions with legal implications as well as handle cases before regular and/or administrative court or bodies
- Flexible and independent
- Strong analytical and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interspersonal relations skills
- Detail oriented
- Willing to work in San Juan City
- Can start immediately
