Research Manager  

Location: Philippines

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Research Manager to oversee our qualitative research projects and provide strategic guidance to our research team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the design and implementation of qualitative research studies, analyzing research data, and communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and analysis of qualitative research studies, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, and ethnographic research

• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and projects are completed on time and within budget

• Provide strategic guidance to the research team, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement

• Conduct data analysis and interpretation, and prepare reports and presentations summarizing research findings for internal and external stakeholders

• Manage research projects from start to finish, including overseeing recruitment of participants, moderating research sessions, and ensuring quality control

• Collaborate with the quantitative research team to integrate qualitative insights into research findings

• Stay up-to-date with emerging qualitative research methodologies and industry trends

• Must be able to effectively write reports through accurate perception & correct expression of data;

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. sociology, anthropology, psychology)

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in qualitative research, with experience managing research projects and teams

• Strong understanding of qualitative research methodologies, including focus groups, in-depth interviews, and ethnographic research

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights effectively

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with team members

• Willingness to travel within the Philippines, as needed.
