SMDV is a tech-focused Venture Capital that partners with entrepreneurs building exceptional technology companies that aim to change the landscape in Indonesia and the region. We are currently hiring for one of our clients.
Our client is an online rapid education program company. They are one of the leading players in the industry. Currently, they are looking for a VP of Commercial to join their growing team.
A Vice President of Commercial is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by developing and implementing commercial strategies, building relationships with key stakeholders, overseeing the sales team, conducting market analysis, collaborating with other departments, managing budgets and performance, ensuring compliance, representing the company, staying current with industry trends, and mentoring team members.
Below is the job description for the role :
- Developing and implementing commercial strategy to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Building and maintaining relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Overseeing the sales team, setting targets, and ensuring they have the resources and support they need to meet their goals.
- Conducting market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and competitiveness.
- Collaborating with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure cohesive and effective go-to-market strategies.
- Developing and managing budgets, forecasting sales, and monitoring performance against targets.
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and other relevant forums.
- Staying current with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activity.
- Mentoring and developing team members to reach their full potential.
Minimum Qualifications
Below is the summary of the requirements for this role :
- Graduated from a reputable University majoring in Marketing, Business Management, Communication, or any related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, sales & partnership.
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic thinking and leadership, and strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Have the ability to develop and execute budgets and forecasts & have an understanding of the industry and market dynamics.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong business acumen and financial understanding.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with diverse teams.
- Familiar with Ads, Google Products, Sheet, Hubspot, and CRM (Infusionsoft).
