National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP)

NGCP delivers safe and reliable electricity throughout the Philippines through its network of high-voltage transmission and sub-transmission lines and other facilities. It plays a crucial role in bringing light to every Filipino home, energizing industries and turning the country’s wheels of progress. As the system operator of the power grid, NGCP also oversees the demand and supply of electricity to efficiently serve all grid users. It links power plants run by the generation companies to the country’s distribution utilities, which, in turn, deliver electricity to end-users.

NGCP is a privately owned corporation managed by a consortium comprised of Monte Oro Grid Resources Corp. led by Henry Sy, Jr., Calaca High Power Corporation led by Robert Coyiuto, Jr., and the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) as technical partner.
