Job Description

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

SUPPORT TO AREA MANAGERS

  • Coordinates with Branch Managers and Area Managers for data concerning reports
  • Monitors sales against targets of all branches
  • Monitors daily sales; TC; AC and keeps Branch Managers and Area Managers updated on the status of sales
  • Prepares report of Area Managers for the once a month meeting with ExCom and SBUs/SBPs
  • Computes the breakeven for proposed projects and LSMs, as well as payback period for investments like additional selling channels
  • Prepares target for new products/titles
  • Analyses sales and profitability reports for the Area Managers

SUPPORT TO OPERATIONS MANAGER

  • Prepares Sales Business Review
  • Prepares/creates templates for use of Branch Managers/Area Managers/Operations Managers
  • Coordinates with Branch Managers/Area Managers/Operations Managers for data concerning reports
  • Monitors sales against targets of all branches via consolidator data to know the standing of branches versus target
  • Prepares Rolling Sales Forecast
  • Formulates recommendations to improve branch performance
  • Get updated store opening timelines of Operations Managers to project for yearend contribution of new stores

SUPPORT TO SALES AND OPERATIONS OFFICE

  • Prepares system-wide report for Branch Managers’ Meeting/Sales and Operations Meeting/SBU Meeting/ManCom Meeting
  • Analyses system-wide sales performance and profitability reports
  • Produces monthly market highlights from consolidator data
  • Develops Yearly Sales Targets
  • Collates in-house data for monitoring / reports to Operations Director; proposal preparation or historical support to site comparables (analog stores) and lease contract renewal
  • Collates raw data reports and draws conclusions from correlations
  • Researches essential information
  • Provides the cost-benefit analyses or business case of assigned projects and observes the standard approval process
  • Analyses business performance, industry trends, existing or new regulatory requirements and their impact on business operations
  • Recommends the appropriate performance metrics across assigned business processes and reviews it against actual performance to determine processes that need improvement
  • Analyses historical sales figures to come up with a demand forecasting model for different branches / market profiles / asset types
  • Tracks and updates the Operations’ Balance Score Card
  • Works hand in hand with the Operations Director in the design, implementation and tracking of incentive programs and awards programs of Sales and Operations Department

Other Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance during budget setting
  • Conducts ad hoc analytics
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably Business Management or equivalent
  • No experience required but can be trained within days or weeks

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of statistics
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, and communication skills
  • Capable of creating and analyzing statistical reports
  • Proven experience of working with the complexity of information within a business context and ability to supply strong, coherent business recommendations as a result
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
