Graphic Artist  

Moss Manila Events House Inc. is an Interior design company, Our clients are Vogue, Dior, Jo Malone, and others. We are looking for a Graphic Artist.

• The designer creates a wide range of layouts, icons, package designs, website designs, logos, and illustrations based on what the client wants.
• They have meetings with clients to talk about what they need and how the project should look.
• They make initial drafts and sketches of the ideas and then show them to the client for more discussion and changes.
• The first step in creating designs is to plan and illustrate concepts. This involves designing rough layouts of art and copy, taking into account factors like arrangement, size, type size and style, and overall esthetics.
• During the design concept phase, it's important to coordinate with internal teams, such as the marketing department, to ensure everyone is on the same page.
• This collaboration continues until the project is completed.
• To get approval for the design concepts, rough layouts are prepared and presented for review. Once approved, the final layout is prepared by marking and pasting up the finished copy and art.
• Obtaining the final copy and art requires operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment, as well as making purchases from vendors when necessary.
• It's crucial to keep the design equipment and software in good working condition.
• This involves completing preventive maintenance, following the manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs when needed.
• Additionally, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment is part of the job.
• In order to complete projects, coordination with outside agencies, art services, printers, and other relevant parties is necessary.
• To stay up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques, it's important to attend design workshops, review professional publications, and actively participate in professional societies. This helps to maintain and expand technical knowledge in the field.

• Graduate / Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, industrial design, or interior design, or equivalent experience

• Three to Six years of experience in graphic design
