PHP Back end Developer  

The Back-End Developer (PHP) will play a crucial role in creating custom processes for ingesting and optimizing data for dynamic ads. He will be collaborating closely with the Feeds team and will be responsible for translating technical requirements, performing data synthesis and transformation, and implementing campaign strategies using predefined workflows and tools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Effectively interpret written Jira requirements and translate them into streamlined ETL processes
• Spearhead the creation of product catalogs by synthesizing diverse data sets and executing essential data transformations
• Utilize FTPs, PHP on AWS EC2 instances, Mongo, and Power Feeds for the proficient loading and manipulation of product data
• Demonstrate expertise in Back-End development tools to establish CRON Jobs and orchestrate scheduled ETL processes
• Master the intricacies of Power Feeds, comprehending its technical advantages and limitations
• Implement vigilant error monitoring tools to promptly identify and flag any ETL processing errors to the broader team
• Uphold and apply best practices outlined by the Feeds team throughout the development lifecycle
• Skillfully document and communicate issues within the data or Jira requirements, ensuring clarity and transparency
• Embody and apply the organization's core values, emphasizing Agility, Quality, and Accountability in all operational activities

• Possess advanced proficiency in PHP, with a preference for raw PHP knowledge over experience limited to website building and development libraries
• Demonstrate hands-on experience in ETL processing involving XML, JSON, and delimited files
• Deep understanding of RESTful protocols, showcasing the ability to navigate and leverage web services effectively
• Exhibit expertise in AWS/Cloud environments, specifically with DynamoDB and S3, demonstrating the capability to navigate and utilize cloud resources
• Showcase familiarity with MongoDB, displaying proficiency in database management and manipulation
• Proficient in JavaScript, with the ability to script and execute functions seamlessly
• Understanding of how CDNs work, coupled with proficiency in HTML for effective web development
• Display effective communication skills in English, adept at conveying technical information through various channels, including Jira tickets, emails, Slack, and phone conversations
