About the Company
Based in Melbourne Australia, our partner company is a technologically advanced manufacturing facility and industry-leader for perforated metal projects with over 120 variations of 2D Products, 3D Products, Acoustic Systems and Value-added services .
We are currently looking for a Drafter to join the team and initially help the company with drafting requirements. It is also a part of this role to make some estimation and perform order entry tasks.
Primary Responsibilities
- Drafting according to our standard format
- 24-hour process turnaround time for drafting and approval of projects with 100% quality.
- Provide recommendations to customers and liaise with customers regarding updates to drawings
- Provide mentoring and training to drafting team members
- Estimating from drawings
- Entering orders into ERP
Personal Responsibilities
- Comply with all lawful instructions from the Company in performing your duties.
- Perform such duties diligently, honestly and to the best of your ability
- Keep such time and other records accurately as required by the Company
- Carrying out any other duties as directed by the Company
- Report to and being accountable to persons nominated from time to time by the Company
- Carry out any duties which are within your skill and competence
- Uphold company Core Values and adhere to company Code of Conduct
- Understand and adhere to company policies
- Seek assistance and clarification where tasks or issues require
- Commitment to participate in training and development as relevant to the role
- Utilize information technology as appropriate to the role
- Participate in relevant meetings
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience as a Drafter or CAD operator
- Experience in Rhino CAD is a great advantage
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to develop collaborative working relationships
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook
- A keen eye for detail
- PC with i9+ processor
- Internet speed min 100/100
