Albergus started for almost four (4) decades ago with the spirit of service, dedication and sheer love for serving good food. The business was built on the principle of serving exquisite appetizers, savory and scrumptious entree and mouth-watering desserts, made from fresh ingredients and run through the highest standards, excellent and personalized service at a reasonable price. We value our 200 plus employees as the key to our competitive advantage.

Through the years, Albergus has consistently put premium on research and development of food products and services to delight its clients. Aside from the regular attendance of local (Chefs on Parade, Food and Packaging Show - World Trade Center) and international food and catering shows (National Restaurant Association, McCormick-Chicago, USA, Hofex-Hongkong, Food and Hotel Asia 2000 / Bakery Asia 2000-Singapore), its owners have tap some of its potential staff to undergo local and international professional trainings which aim at improving their technical knowledge and skills on the food service operation. Led by the current Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Mary Ann Unson-Jugo, who graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, New York, USA. She had her first job at the Hyatt Valencia, USA.

Mrs. Francisca M. Unson is the pioneer and creator of Albergus’ signature dishes. She has singly maneuvered a small household business into one of the most successful food business on the Philippines. Currently, Mrs. Unson has concentrated her knowledge and creativity in the Research and Development department of the company.
