Job Description
- Setting the vision and culture to enforce the highest level of quality standards in the organization
- Accountable for the company’s engineering quality, drive change the organizational operations
- Identify and advocates QA best practices by collaborating with the leadership team
- Defining the right culture for achieving best QA practices and services for the Development teams
- Increase testing efficiency through automation frameworks/tools, either creating or bringing in open source/commercial tools to solve automation problems
- Proposing and defining QA management methodologies and reporting systems, ensuring clear communication with all relevant teams
- Identify best practices in determining application security risks, threats and vulnerabilities by establishing testing methodologies to ensure cybersecurity and privacy policy is implemented
- Collaborating with Development on QA needs and risks to current and upcoming projects
- Leading and building an effective and efficient QA culture
- Mentoring QA managers and leads in management best practices
- Negotiating relevant contracts for QA services
- Managing the P&L of the QA department
- Be able to take part in Sales / Pre-Sales offering the QA Services to potential customers, and creating proposals /contracts that suit the opportunities
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or similar
- 10+ years of QA experience with at least 5 of years in a management role
- Have experience in managing teams of 30+ QA consultants
- Experience in leading large QA organization, with distributed teams, multi-sites and different time zones
- Hands-on experience in setting up QA standards for small to large-scale enterprise software, microservices, data, and system-level integrations
- Experience in agile development, product development cycle, technical requirements, and project management
- Has strong experience and understanding of software/systems architecture, data structures, programming and testing practices
- Strong working experience in security and performance testing is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing teams and driving culture
- Good presentation and negotiation skills for sales and pre-sales work
