Job Description
StraightArrow’s Driver/Messenger is responsible for delivering documents and packages for the Company as well as driving the Company’s vehicles to provide safe, reliable, and
comfortable transportation services to employees, Clients, and guests.
The Driver/Messenger function is an important and confidential function that contributes to the overall safety and wellbeing of StraightArrow employees. As such, all Driver/Messengers are expected to take their jobs seriously, always coming to work physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared to support the Company’s employees.
Core Functions
1. Drive Company Vehicles
- Drive the Company’s vans to provide Shuttle Service at designated times;
- Drive for the Company’s employees, Clients, and guests.
2. Maintain Company Vehicles
- Ensure that Company vehicles are clean and in good working condition;
- Ensure that maintenance schedules for assigned Company vehicles are followed.
3. Provide Messengerial Services
- Pick-up and deliver documents, packages, and other items for the Company;
- Run errands - including processing of permits/submissions to Government agencies; performing banking transactions as authorized; transacting payments for goods and services acquired by the Company.
4. Fulfill administrative work as needed:
- Filing
- Distribution of office supplies
- Delivery of intercompany communication
5. Other activities assigned from time-to-time
Minimum Qualifications
- At least a high school graduate
- 2 to 3 years of experience in administrative work
- With a valid professional driver’s license (restrictions 1,2,3)
- Good experience in handling government transactions with the SSS, Philhealth, and
other government agencies - With experience in sending invoices, picking up checks and other messengerial work
- Willing to go on shifting schedules and report onsite 5 days in a week
- With a clean bill of health
