Job Description
MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
The primary responsibility of the Accounts Payable Finance Specialist is the Company’s
purchasing and payable activities, vendor accreditation, finance administrative functions and other finance-related activities assigned by the Management.
TASKS:
- Prepare purchase orders for review and approval based on the request and approved budget of each department
- Ensure strict control and preparation of capital expenditure (CAPEX) requests of all departments
- Process vendors’ invoice for posting and payment
- Prepare check vouchers for review of Head of Finance and approval of the Founders
- Entertain suppliers’ calls, follow-ups, and complaints for outstanding invoices settlement
- Ensure proper withholding of vendors and preparation of the Certificate of Creditable Withholding Tax (BIR Form 2307)
- Schedule check pick up with vendors
- Manage accounts payable ageing
- Ensure completeness and proper cut-off of accruals and other payables
- Responsible for proper filing of financial documents (i.e. invoices), vouchers and receipts
- Accredit all vendors in accordance with supplier management and relationship policies of the Company
- Create and update the suppliers’ profile in the system/database based upon the required documentations
- Prepare reports and reconciliations assigned by the Finance Officer or Finance Supervisor or Head of Finance.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Management
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree holder in Accounting or Finance (preferably CPA but not required)
- Preferably with previous work experience in Accounts Payable (but not required)
- Analytical, organized, team player and can work with minimum supervision
- Keen into details and possesses dynamic personality
- High proficiency in English both written and verbal
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications and accounting/reporting software
