SM Appliance Center, Inc. is the retail affiliate of the SM Group that is focused on the marketing of home appliances in the Philippines. The SM Group is known to a lot of people as one of the largest conglomerates in the Philippines with extensive holdings in shopping malls, retailing, financial services and real estate development.
SM Appliance Center is the trade name of Star Appliance Center, Inc. which was incorporated in 1991; and in a span of over twenty three years, we have been able to set up 58 outlets throughout the entire Philippines. We have 49 branches in Luzon, 5 in Visayas and 4 in Mindanao. For the year 2014, a branch in Angono will open in November and 6 soon-to-open branches in 2015 to be located in San Mateo, Rizal; Tetuan, Zamboanga; Trece Martires, Cavite; Roxas City; Cabanatuan and Seaside, Cebu City. Our stores are normally located in SM shopping malls, SM Department Stores, and other non-SM malls such as Rockwell, Harrison Plaza, Virra Mall and Mega Center-Cabanatuan.
SM Appliance Center has established a reputation for value and quality services in the marketing of home appliances. We are continuing to forge into new customer services by developing an Online store to serve Filipinos, both locally and abroad. With its shopping tips and product comparison features, the Online store of SM Appliance Center aims to equip the local consumers with the tools needed to get the best values for their purchases of home appliances. We also aim to enable Overseas Filipinos to purchase home appliances for their families and relatives back home.
Our initial foray into Online store is meant to be the first step in electronic commerce. For the year 2014, we are expanding the delivery coverage of the Online store from Metro Manila to the major cities in the Philippines. The Online store accepts Visa and Mastercard credit cards. This payment mode will enable customers to shop for home appliances without leaving their homes and thus, avoiding traffic jams and the crowd in the shopping malls.
