Job Description
- The Distribution Center Manager is expected to manage the day-to-day activities of the warehouse operations to ensure store orders are fulfilled within set standards.
- This includes assuring that merchandise and non-merchandise inventory is kept at optimal level in order to achieve service level target at minimum inventory carrying cost.
- The job covers the development and implantation of operational strategies that are beneficial for the warehouse operations and the company as a whole.
Minimum Qualifications
SCHOLASTIC REQUIREMENT
- Candidates should have at least a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Engineering, Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
WORK AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates should have at least 10 years of work experience in supply chain management practive, with at least 5 years’ experience in retail logistics
- Should have working knowledge in operating WMS and JDA
- Should have above average oral and written communication skills
- Must have the ability to interpret financial reports
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
