Job Description
- Liaise with Service Management Team to assess impact of Capacity-related threshold breaches.
- Forecast future capacity requirements based on business plans and usage trends.
- Analysis of usage and performance data, producing regular management reports.
- Review and revision of capacity plan and collaborate with internal stakeholders to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for planning purposes to meet operational requirements.
- Ensure that IT infrastructure will have enough resources to fulfill the demand in time.
- Ensure that the right tools and processes are in place to deliver effective capacity planning and performance monitoring.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical and planning skills;
- Good communication and presentation skills;
- Excellent problem-solving skills;
- Project management skills;
- Proven management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development;
- Considerable knowledge of standards and best practices relevant to the information technology industry, e.g., ITIL;
- Strong IT systems knowledge including excel, word, and powerpoint skills and the ability to learn new software package;
- Commercial and financial awareness, with a full understanding of the impact of failure with regards to business costs;
- Experience in process ownership and delivering process functions;
- Must have 5 years experience in a Banking or Financial industry;
Good To Have:
- ITIL certification
- Understanding of Banking or Financial Services
- Familiarity with other monitoring/capacity tools
