Data Warehouse Specialist  

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-to-end data warehouse development, including source to target mapping, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Collaborate with data originators to understand data requirements, fill gaps in collected data, and optimize data structures for analysis.
• Review project plans, develop and test specifications, and perform comprehensive data analysis.
• Provide support for existing systems, troubleshoot data and system issues, and extend tool sets for improved functionality.
• Create and maintain batch jobs, online systems, and comprehensive documentation.
• Identify and address data-related issues within the Data Warehouse environment and source systems.
• Adapt quickly to changing needs, adjusted processes, and ambiguous situations.
• Ensure high-quality service satisfaction by possessing strong customer service skill sets.
• Create and maintain logical and physical dimensional data models.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience working in a Data Warehouse role.
• Strong proficiency in ETL programming within a Data Warehouse environment
• Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and SQL, along with PL/SQL programming skills.
• Advanced SQL writing, tuning/optimization, and analytics experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL processes, Cloud Computing, and Data Security concepts.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with enterprise-class RDBMS (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and Cloud Data Warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
• Solid understanding of database/information systems design, analysis, and development.
• Experience with the development and implementation of enterprise-level data warehousing and supporting business intelligence initiatives.
• Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to self-manage and multitask on multiple projects
