Job Description
- Work with credit approver and risk policy managers on any change of quality in customers collections.
- Prepare and review reports on collection status, e.g. customers fail to meet their payment agreements, delinquency or early defaults.
- Liaise with every channel of collection (desk collector, field collector, other distribution points that may be employed).
- Actively manage collection of customer portfolio.
- Undertake Collection analysis/modeling, portfolio metric reporting, and operational support related to the collection strategy.
- Provide analytical support to all aspects of the Collection process & strategy.
- Provide operational insights to achieve key performance indicators.
- Identify, communicate, and execute on new collection strategy/opportunities related to the company target.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as Collection Analyst at Banking, Financial Services / FinTech Company or other related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Analytical Field and/or related background degree.
- Experience using statistical computer languages (for example SQL, Python, R, Scala) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Strong understanding of local collection regulatory reporting to ensure sound internal control and that standard collection procedures are in place.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
